Virtual Field Trip to the Smallest Country in the World!
Vatican City!
Link to the Virtual Field Trip

Vatican city is home to the Pope and sits inside the city of Rome but is their own country separate from Italy. Although personally, I am not religious or catholic in any sort I still find the history behind Catholics and pilgrims very interesting. I have actually visited the Vatican and Sistine Chapel in person before so I have a lot of prior knowledge. If I was placed at a catholic school in any future practicums or future teachings this virtual tour would be used to teach students all about the small country in the world and I could connect it to subjects such as the arts by looking at the Sistine's chapels most famous ceiling and other pieces of art made by some of the most famous artists of the world such as Michaelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, etc. It could also connect to subjects as well as ELA and social studies.
I love how you chose Vatican City for your virtual tour! It is such a beautiful place :) You have such a great idea with connecting this place to teaching arts!
